ONE Human Family

Within our one human family are some very disturbed, immature people doing barbarous things to their own flesh and blood. But the idea of "us against them" is, like bigotry, immature at best.

The teenage mind can behave impulsively, recklessly, from drunk-driving to being coerced to acts of suicidal mass murder. Regardless of how individual members of our family behave, they're still family - not disposable. We must prevent them from causing further damage, AND hold them in equanimous love.

We must not only retain the best of our character, but become much better at truly caring for each other, with open hearts and open minds. It's all about us (not us against them).
